December 3rd

Sushi For The Holidays
with Chef Troy

Tuesday, December 3rd | Hands-On $85
5:30pm - 7:30pm

In this class Chef Troy will help us create sushi appetizers that we can add to our holiday table! We’ll start the night enjoying a Japanese Seaweed Salad with Shrimp. Next, Chef Troy will show us how to make Nigiri Sushi, the soft pillows of rice blanketed with fresh fish. We will also make an assortment of Maki Sushi Rolls, filled with fish and pickled veggies. The night will wrap up with a fun dessert - Mochi Ice Cream.

December 5th

Christmas Pies
with Chef K

Santa may like cookies, but we are all about the pie! Join Chef K for a night of baking, where she’ll teach us how to make beautiful pies for the holidays. Our mouths are already watering and we haven’t even mentioned what flavors she has planned…first will be a delicious Cranberry Orange Pie. Followed by the unique combination of Apple and Pear. Last but not least, a traditional Pecan Pie you’ll want to serve your family for dessert on the big day. Chef K also takes pre-orders for the holidays, so make sure to ask for her specialty menu.

 
 

December 6th

Live Holiday Wreath Making

Decorate your home for the holidays with a custom wreath made by YOU! Local artist Chelsea Wheeler is back to lead the night with step-by-step instructions for creating a modern design with your own personal touch. We’ll provide the base, branches and a few embellishments, including your choice of an ornament from one of our most elegant collections. You can also shop our wide selection of holiday items for 10% off and give your wreath that extra bit of twinkle. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and light charcuterie bite during class. Better reserve your seat soon, Chelsea’s last class filled up fast!

Bubbles & Bites
with The Wine Maven

The holidays are full of sparkle, so why not add a little to your glass? Join The Wine Maven as she fills The Culinary Stone with bottles of bubbly for the holiday season. Sample a few of her favorite Sparkling Wines from around the world, along with festive bites that pair perfectly with all the flavorful notes from each pour. Stop in to The Culinary Stone on Saturday, December 7th from 1-3pm. This special tasting is $10 per guest, but we’ll waive the cost with any wine purchase over $15.

Holiday Braised Pork Belly
with Chef Ted Genoway

Guest Chef Ted Genoway brings his years of culinary experience - from restaurants and country clubs around the area - to The Culinary Stone! This will be a night filled with incredible food. We’ll begin with a beautifully Stacked Salmon and Sweet Beet Avocado Tartare with a Lemon Vinaigrette. The main course will feature Chef Ted’s Braised Pork Belly and a Sweet Potato Mash finished with a Maple, Bacon Bourbon Glaze. For dessert, he’ll make a Grand Maurier Creme Brûlée. This class is a must see!

Kids Gingerbread Baking Class
with Chef K

Chef K is preparing for another kids class! This time she’ll be having fun making all things Gingerbread, including houses and the characters who live there. Make sure kiddos are ready to roll up their sleeves, they’ll be using their imaginations to decorate with frosting, sprinkles, candy and more. All they need is an apron, Chef K will have everything else ready to bring the magic of the holidays alive in the kitchen.

 

December 17th

Canadian Christmas
with chef Lesa

It’s back on the menu! Every year Chef Lesa is asked to make her favorite childhood delights from up north. Of course, Pierogies are on the menu! Potato and Cheese, as well as Onion and Sauerkraut; fried in onions and butter, then topped with sour cream. Her next dish will be Cabbage Rolls, like you’ve never had them before. For dessert, Chef Lesa will make her British Grandma’s English Shortbread!

 

December 19th

Cooking Wild Holiday Game Bird
with Chef Troy

Thursday, December 19th | Partial Hands-On $85
5:30pm - 7:30pm

Chef Troy’s Cooking Wild series continues for December! To start, we will enjoy a Winter Salad with a Cranberry Vinaigrette demonstration. For our Game Bird, Chef Troy will show us how to create a festive Sausage Filling using spices, nuts and berries. We will plate this with Roasted Winter Root Vegetables and an Herbed Merlot Pan Sauce. To finish the festivities, let's enjoy a Christmas Bourbon Creme Brûlée together.

 

Cancellation Policy
Our chefs purchase fresh ingredients in preparation for each class, they need an accurate headcount for quantity and for this reason we require 48-hour cancellation notice to receive a full refund or class credit.

The Culinary Stone must be notified at the time of your class booking of food allergies that you have. While we will reach out to the chefs, we cannot guarantee that they can accommodate special requests.
