November 5th

Classic Cookies
with Chef K

Tuesday, November 5th | Hands-On $70

Join Chef K for a fun night learning to make cookies from scratch! Our in-house pastry chef will show us how to prepare some of her favorite flavors - Snickerdoodles, Salted Chocolate Caramel and White Macadamia Nut. These delicious cookies will make great treats for the holidays! Chef K’s classes go quick, so don’t wait to sign up for this one.

November 7th

Fall Fried Sushi Rolls
with Chef Troy

The weather is getting colder, but don’t worry…Chef Troy has a delicious answer! Saucey, crunchy rolls are a great way to have sushi by the fire on cold winter nights. In this class we will learn how to create Tempura Sushi Rolls and the sauces that accompany them. We’ll also warm up with a Classic Miso Soup and finish the night with a sweet Mochi Ball Ice Cream dessert.

Cheers to 11 Years

November 12th

Handmade Ravioli
with Chef Lesa

It’s time to roll up our sleeves and learn the art of handmade Ravioli! Chef Lesa will teach us how to make “Laminated” Pasta that looks like beautiful parchment with herbs. These raviolis will include two different fillings - Butternut Squash and Ricotta, Sausage and Fennel. We’ll also make some lovely sauces to top off the pasta and our fun night in the kitchen together. Don’t miss this class!

 

November 14th

Cooking Wild Antelope Albondigas
with Chef Troy

Chef Troy continues his Cooking Wild series with Antelope Albondigas. To start the night, we’ll make Ceviche using wild seafood. Then, Chef Troy will teach us how to create the classic Mexican stew - Albondigas - using antelope and wild spices. And how about some warm Spiced Churros to finish the night. Yum!

 

November 15th

Paint & Sip

We are hosting our first-ever Paint & Sip night at The Culinary Stone. Grab your friends and join us for a lively night full of creativity, wine and shopping! Local artist Chelsea Wheeler will lead us in a guided tutorial for painting a winterscape illuminated by brilliant Northern Lights that have been on full display in North Idaho all year. This special event will include two pours from The Wine Maven’s expertly curated collection of wine, as well as savory charcuterie cups and a gourmet dessert prepared by our in-house pastry chef.

Delightful Holiday Bites
with Chef K

Let’s get ready for Christmas! Chef K will help us prepare for all the holiday guests we’ll be hosting over the next month. To begin the evening, she will teach us how to make a beautiful Dessert Charcuterie Board with sweet ingredients that everyone is sure to enjoy. Then, we’ll learn how to use cranberries in the most delicious way…in a Cranberry Cake! If that’s not enough for dessert, Chef K will share her perfect recipe for a traditional Sugar Cookie. This class will get you on Santa’s Nice List for life!

 

November 21st

A Night in Morocco
with chef Lesa

A Night in Morocco is back by demand! Join Chef Lesa to learn about the warm spices and aromatics from this region. To begin the evening will be Fattoush Salad with bright, crisp veggies in a lemony dressing. The main feature is Chicken Tagine - a clay pot filled with juicy chicken, olives, lemons and much more!!! For dessert will be Chef Lesa’s traditional Rose Cake!

 

November 26th

Thanksgiving Treats
with Chef K

Tuesday, November 26th | Partial Hands-On $75

Oftentimes, we focus so much on the turkey at Thanksgiving that we forget about the sweets at the end of the meal. Not this year! Our talented in-house pastry chef will be making Thanksgiving treats that will outshine even the turkey! To begin, Chef K will make a traditional Pumpkin Pie with heavy cream. The next goodie will be the ever so light and buttery dish, Bourbon Apple Blondies. To finish the evening, we will make an upscale Apple Crisp to wow your dinner guests. Cancellation Policy
Our chefs purchase fresh ingredients in preparation for each class, they need an accurate headcount for quantity and for this reason we require 48-hour cancellation notice to receive a full refund or class credit.

The Culinary Stone must be notified at the time of your class booking of food allergies that you have. While we will reach out to the chefs, we cannot guarantee that they can accommodate special requests.
