Déjeuner sur L'herbe, A 19th century French trend to romanticize countryside, picnics are still very much appreciated nowadays. No picnic is perfect without a baguette, fresh produce, pate and cheese. We will prepare a homemade beef and pork filet mignon liver free pate flavored with cognac, served with baguette. Traditional grated carrot salad, celery remoulade and just because everybody loves a good potato salad, why not prepare the French version, the Salad Piemontaise with ham and gruyere...so irresistible. For the sweet tooth, a childhood favorite treat, Chouquette with a lovely strawberry salad.
