Sushi Night with Chef Lesa

A great big night filled with fresh fish and lessons on the art of sushi.

We will first learn to make the perfect sushi rice. Next, we will make a dragon roll using a sushi mat. This roll is divine and filled with tempura shrimp, veggies with a little crunch on the outside and a sushi sauce. Then, we will make sushi bowls with fresh salmon, rice and many colorful veggies and herbs; finished with a miso dressing.

Last, we will make firecracker mussels. These gems are on the half shell, a drizzle of a sriracha mayo and broiled briefly. This will be served with a traditional Japanese cucumber salad.
