Cooking Wild: Warm Winter Game with Chef Troy

  • The Culinary Stone 2129 N. Main Street Coeur d'Alene, ID, 83814 United States (map)

The Cooking Wild adventure continues with Chef Troy! Tonight we will enjoy a tossed salad with Wild Greens and Winter Veggies, while Chef Troy demonstrates a Juniper/Cranberry vinaigrette. Here’s a little secret...this salad will be topped with roasted garlic grouse liver croutons for those who dare. We will then recreate the classic dish, Stuffed Mushrooms using antelope and bacon. Chef Troy will follow up by showing us how to make the old school mining favorite - Venison Pasties. This pastry is a historic culinary treat brought to our tables from the United Kingdom (Cornwall) and has a history dated back as far as the 1200's. Rumor has it that Troy is going to finish this class with a Mountain Cabin Huckleberry Cobbler. Don’t miss this…it’s going to be a wild class!
