April 2nd

A Night in Malaysia
with Chef Lesa

Tuesday, April 2nd | Partial Hands-On $85
5:30pm - 7:30pm

Join Chef Lesa for a night of spices, flavors and beautiful colors. First dish will be Nasi Goreng…a delicious stir-fried noodle dish with chicken and spices. The main attraction is Laksa soup, a medium spicy curry soup with coconut cream base, veggies and fresh prawns…divine. For dessert will be a traditional creamy coconut cake.

April 4th

Sourdough and More
with Chef Lesa

Thursday, April 4th | Demonstration $85
5:30pm - 7:30pm

Join Chef Lesa for a fun, informative night of baking! You will go over sourdough starters and bake rustic fermented sourdough bread! Next treat will be rainforest crackers with nuts and seeds, these little gems can be expensive…so make them at home! Last dish will be a crowd favorite…herb, butter and Asiago pull apart bread! There will also be meats and cheese served with the breads.

 
 

April 8th

Salmon – From Sea to Table
with Special Guest Chef Joel

Learn the fundamentals of how to properly clean and filet a whole salmon. Chef Joel will take you through all the steps you need to prepare an elegant seafood dinner, which will include Salmon with a farro salad, roasted root vegetables and an orange salsa. This will be accompanied by a mixed green salad with shaved fennel, apple, radish, walnuts and an apple cider honey vinegar. No meal is complete without a delicious dessert. Tonight you will experience Coconut milk pudding.

April 10th

Easy Chicken Shawarma, A Middle Eastern Delight
With Chef Lesa

Join Chef Lesa for an in-demand class! Shawarma is a fluffy bread filled with marinated, grilled chicken. There will also be a garlic tahini sauce. We will make both in class and add a bright salad with cucumber, tomato and all sorts of lemony goodness. We will also make hummus from scratch.

 

April 16th

Let’s Travel to Greece
with chef Lesa

Join Chef Lesa for a Mediterranean journey with her homemade Greek salad and bright lemony dressing, topped with fresh feta. Next is the delicious Pastitsio, layered with Bechamel, cheeses and beef…oh my! For dessert, a Greek custard pie. This decadent treat will leave you weeping!

 

April 19th

Canadian Night is Back
with Chef Lesa

Friday, April 19th | Partial Hands-On $85
5:30pm - 7:30pm

Join Chef Lesa for an evening featuring dishes she grew up with. First, you will make pierogies with the Chef - both potato and sauerkraut, topped with sour cream and onion. Next dish will be traditional, comforting cabbage rolls with beef in a rich tomato sauce. For dessert will be her fave…butter tart bars.

 

April 25th

Vegetarian Class
with Chef Lesa

Due to high demand, Chef Lesa will create some delicious vegetarian dishes…you won’t miss any proteins! First dish will be a spicy sweet potato, quinoa and kale bowl, with a creamy tahini dressing. Next delicious dish will be a cauliflower Parmesan…decadent and cheesy. Last dish will be a lion’s mane mushroom crab cake with a beautiful sauce. Great alternatives without feeling like you missed out!!

Ceviche 101

From the coasts of Peru to the shores of Mexico, a fresh and tangy CEVICHE with a touch of heat reigns supreme...you just can’t beat it. We’ll prepare for summer cooking by exploring the world of this Latin American favorite as we learn about choosing the best seafood and pairing it with fresh fruits, vegetables and chiles.

Our chefs purchase fresh ingredients in preparation for each class, they need an accurate headcount for quantity and for this reason we require 48-hour cancellation notice to receive a full refund or class credit.

The Culinary Stone must be notified at the time of your class booking of food allergies that you have. While we will reach out to the chefs, we cannot guarantee that they can accommodate special requests.
