La Vigilia di Natale is the night before Christmas or Christmas Eve. It is known as the eve of seven fishes, when Italians only eat fish, and usually 7 different types representing the 7 sacraments! We will make a couple. To start we will learn how to make cornmeal crusted Calamari served with a tomato sauce. Our second fish will be shrimp which will be added to shrimp risotto. To finish we will make Ricciarelli, soft almond cookies that are famous in Sienna! Buon Gusto!
