The Loire, in central France, is both the longest, and only stretching East to West, river in that renowned country. Along its length are some of the most interesting wine appellations that few have heard of. We’ll definitely go over these in this wine class and tasting; but for now, suffice it to say that this exceptional region is best known for Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. Both white and red, these items are gorgeously mysterious and some of the best manifestations of these varieties you’ll find the world over. We look very much forward to proving this claim during this special wine tasting and class. As with anything, when first exposed to it, it becomes no longer obscure or esoteric. Come get familiar with these beauties with us.
