The Taste of the 'Stone

In conjunction with Riverstone’s 20th anniversary celebration, come join us for THE THE TASTE OF THE ‘STONE during the day on Saturday and stop by for a delicious tasting from our fine meats and cheeses Friday and Saturday evening at the Riverstone 20th Anniversary Celebration.

The Taste of the ‘Stone on Saturday will feature fine meats, cheeses, cafe treats, beer, wine, gift baskets and our all else that we offer at the Culinary Stone.

We also have a special guest, Mark Harmann from Dunham Cellars, come by meet Mark and share some of your favorite wine stories and the camaraderie of all wine enthusiasts alike!

We will be supporting the Kootenai County Human Society with a donation of 10% of all Saturday’s proceeds to help our furry friends :-)

Class - Summertime Sushi

Chef Troy

Come learn some cool techniques to impress your friends and

family. We will go over the basics of fish purchasing, making

Sushi rice, plating, cutting Sashimi and creating rolls and

Nigiri. The grand finale will be one of Chef Troy’s favorite

Japanese dishes ‐ Chirashi Don. Bring your appetite to this fun

and colorful class.

Class - Shawarma Class is Here!

I’ve been promising, and I’m delivering! We will first make

Shawarma flat bread from scratch. We will also cover the

special spices that make this dish exciting. Bring mints; we will

make the famous Lebanese garlic sauce. A chicken Shawarma

is the headliner with all the toppings. As a delicious side dish

we will make Middle Eastern chickpea salad, so bright your

Come and join us for an early celebration of Christmas sharing a high tea. We will imagine being in London for a little while. A cup of tea, a glass of bubbly, wine served with an assortment of  sandwich and pastries. Cucumber sandwich, mince pies, scones with jam and cream, caramel chocolate tart and a Christmas cake. Dress up, wear hats if you wish, come and join us for a live musical high tea afternoon.
